What this site is
emergencyrepairservicenearme.com is operated by Unalogix, LLC, 5900 Balcones Dr, Ste 100, Austin, TX 78731. It is a dispatch service. We take emergency calls and reach independent licensed contractors. We are not a licensed contractor ourselves and we do not perform repair work. Each city page lists a phone number that connects you with an independent licensed contractor serving that area. We may be paid by that contractor for connecting the call.
What we collect
This site sets no cookies, loads no third party scripts, and has no forms. It does count visits, using our own software on our own servers. No advertising network, analytics company or other third party receives anything about your visit.
What we count when you view a page
When you open a page we record: which page it was, the site or search engine you arrived from if your browser sends one, any campaign tags in the link you followed, your device type, browser and operating system, your screen size, and the time. If you tap a phone number on the page we record that a tap happened and on which page.
We do not store your IP address. We store a one-way cryptographic hash of it, salted with a secret we can change, used only to tell automated crawlers apart from people and to avoid counting one page reload as two visits. The hash cannot be turned back into an address.
To group the pages you look at in one sitting we generate a random string and keep it in your browser's session storage. It is not a cookie, it is not shared with any other site, it contains nothing about you, and it is discarded when you close the tab.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we record nothing at all. No page views, no taps, nothing.
Phone calls
The numbers on this site are call tracking numbers. When you call, we record the calling number, the time, the duration, which page the number belongs to, and, when the call is recorded, a link to that recording, so we can route the call and bill the contractor. Calls may be recorded for quality and training. When a call is recorded you are told so before it is connected, in every state, whether or not the law there requires it, and the same notice appears on the page.
We do not sell call records. We share your number and the details of your request with the contractor who takes the call, because they need it to reach you.
One text after your call
A day or so after your call we may send one text message asking how it went: whether anyone came out, how long they took, and what the service was like. It is a single message about the call you placed.
We do not use your number for marketing, we do not sell it, and there is no second message or campaign to fall into. Replying STOP, or any of the usual words, stops it permanently and applies to every future call, not just that one. Standard message and data rates apply.
What you tell us goes to the contractor who took the call and into our own records of how they perform. It is not published, and nothing you say is attached to your name anywhere on this site.
